Film is Fabulous! are delighted to announce the launch of a new Patreon supporter scheme, which will provide a platform for those who wish, and are able, to make monthly donations to the charitable trust.

The team at Film is Fabulous! understand that everyone who follows the organisation is invested in the results of the on-going preservation work. This is why we post regular updates on various aspects of the work being undertaken. However, a large number of our followers would like to forge even closer links with the team, and receive early insights into our activities. By donating each month, followers can become ‘supporters’.

Two initial monthly donation options will be available on Patreon from Friday 31st July 2026. These are:

CAST & CREW

Donate £5 per month

Each month, our ‘Cast & Crew’ will receive:

• Early access to extracts from missing and rare short films, documentaries, and television programmes, recovered by Film is Fabulous! 
• Early access to educational content, encompassing the cataloguing and preservation of missing and rare material by Film is Fabulous!
• Early access to video coverage of the discussion panels, and the announcements made during the course of Film is Fabulous! events.

DIRECTORS

Donate £10 per month

Each month, our ‘Directors’ will receive all the benefits of the ‘Cast & Crew’, plus:

• Exclusive articles written by TV Historian Oliver Crocker, and other writers, about the work being undertaken by Film is Fabulous! 
• Extended videos on the missing and rare short films, documentaries, and television programmes recovered by Film is Fabulous!

Patreon is a trusted membership platform that lets content creators, such as podcasters and writers, earn a recurring monthly income directly from their followers, in exchange for content and exclusive benefits. The Film is Fabulous! team believe that Patreon is the best way, currently, to engage with supporters about the on-going preservation work.  

However, the team want to ensure that no hidden charges from third parties are incurred by our supporters.
