Film is Fabulous! and De Montfort University’s Cinema and Television History Institute (CATHI) are pleased to announce the discovery of three classic BBC TV programmes from the 1960s. All three television episodes are currently missing from the BBC Archive:

SYKES – Sykes and a Marriage (Broadcast: 1st February 1961)

HUGH AND I – New Year Resolutions (Broadcast: 4th January 1964)

MOGUL [The Troubleshooters] – Is That Tiger, Man? (Broadcast: 30th April 1966) 

The three ‘finds’ will be returned to the BBC Archive for scanning shortly. They are part of a series of discoveries made by the Film is Fabulous! team in recent months. More classic British television recoveries will be announced in the coming days.
