Film is Fabulous! and De Montfort University’s Cinema and Television History Institute (CATHI) are delighted to announce that films from the collection of the late Terry Burnett, who is famous for returning two missing episodes of Dr Who to the BBC in 2010, and later returned the missing episode ‘The Girl On The Poster’ from the Hugh And I comedy series, will form one of the case studies in the pilot scheme.

A sample of 500 films from Terry’s collection will be catalogued by the film archive team at The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu. The work will be undertaken using identical protocols to those being employed by Dr. Peter Lester at De Montfort University. Richard Latto, one of the Film is Fabulous! team at the heart of the project, will assist in the cataloguing at Beaulieu. Further details will be published shortly.
